Aerial hammock is a type of performance in which an artist performs aerial acrobatics while suspended by a special fabric. The performer climbs the suspended fabric without the use of safety lines, and rely only on their training and skill to ensure safety. The performer uses the fabric to wrap, suspend, fall, swing, and spiral their body into and out of various positions. Routines are an exciting display of athleticism, coordination and flexibility.
The photos below are of Ariel Rose performing her hammock act. The act is approximately 7-8 minutes long and can be performed to a variety of music choices. Upon request, this act can also be performed as a synchronized act with multiple people.
